The Emkarate family of lubricants is a variety of polyol ester cooling oil products. They are specifically designed for use with HFC refrigerants, developed to meet the performance demands of the refrigeration industry. This superior performance is achieved with basefluids that are specifically formulated to provide optimal performance with minimal additive levels.
The current requirements for refrigerant and AC compressors are complex. They must be compatible and soluble with HFC refrigerants, and they must be compatible and soluble with CFC and HCFC as well as mineral oils and alkylbenzene. Polyol ester lubricants meet these needs, and the EMKARATE RL line is the preferred choice. Working closely with compressors and manufacturer systems, this approved OEM lubricant POE includes a viscosity range from 7 cSt (35-40 SUS) 220 cSt (1100 SUS) to suit most applications. Lubricants have excellent thermal and chemical stability, and are compatible with a variety of elastomers, polymeric materials and other construction materials. In addition, then a higher viscosity index is an indication that the effective viscosity will not change drastically with the wide swing of temperature seen by the most typical cooling and air conditioning systems.
